Doggie Door...Check. Cupboards...Check.

Take note of the beagle trying to enter without being accosted by baby.
Our little Sherlock has uncovered many mysteries over the past couple weeks. Between the doggie door, dog food bowls and cupboards, we're so NOT prepared for the next couple months or should I say, YEARS. Summer should be fun and now that it's heating up, we'll have to get Mia out there in her pink polka dot bikini! (Can you imagine it? That will surely be a blog post to come!)

Over the weekend, we had a bridal shower for Jeanette and can't wait for the big day in July! It's such a fun time and as college roomies, we're all really looking forward to celebrating such a fun day with her.

Nothing but CHICAS

We survived eBay Live!. I was out of town for almost a week in Chicago and I thought I was going to die. I really missed home, more than any other trip. But, it's now over and we went to visit Trish on my day off. Look at all the cute matching girls!!

Father's Day was a hit!

Dad got an ice cream maker while Mia got a bright purple knot on her forehead. It was her first bonk on the coffee table. We both saw it happen...or should I say, heard it happen. Either way, it swelled up fast and we're thinking we're lucky it didn't split open. I'm trying to get used to the thought that there may be more of these to come, but it's not easy seeing it happen. We had a great Father's Day and watched Tiger Woods win it all! Now, I'm off to Chicago for work. Keep an eye out for the single Dad with two beagles and a babe! Go Cubbies!! ;)

Definitely Crawling...

For the past few months, we've reported on scooting, but now it's official...we have a crawler on our hands!! Exactly one week ago today, Mia got serious and put her nose to the grind (literally). She would put her head down and monitor each step as she crawled to get a toy. We would clap, she would sit up and clap and we videotaped like crazy. ;) Lucy, on the other hand, was a little hesitant (see skittish look below). We probably should have given Lucy a heads up that it would come to this.

And for those of you who didn't know, the Salt Lake Farmers Market opened today! It's our favorite Saturday morning activity. That's where we took the photo of Mia in black and white at the top. Mia loves the market and bought another snazzy tie-dye onesie from the hippie in the tie-dye van.

Mia and her Grandma's

Mia loves her Grandma's! Nina was in town a couple weekends ago and we were able to spend some good quality G-ma time together. It was that same weekend that Travis was able to finish the roof and so now we gladly welcome any rain. Up until that point, we didn't get much sleep. Ironically, it does continue to rain and it's unseasonably cold for this time of the year. If you can believe it, Alta Ski Resort got another 10 inches of snow yesterday...and yes, they're still open! Just last weekend, we celebrated Jeanette's engagement down in Las Vegas where it was 95 degrees sitting by the pool. ;)
