Happy Valentine's Day!

(Mia says...) My dad gave me books for Valentine's! Of course, they're both books about dogs (that's her favorite subject). Speaking of dogs...we're super excited that Uno the beagle won the Westminster Dog Show last week. Ah-roo! ;)

We're spending the day together since it's President's Day so we're headed out to play with friends. Chat more soon!

Phooey! Rice cereal stinks!! (literally)

So, we're trying to introduce a few new things to Mia and the rice cereal is ok in a bottle, but gross on a spoon. From our perspective, it's nasty! Oh well, we'll keep trying. By 6 months, we should be able to move to the veggies and fruit, but then again, that doesn't look or smell any better.

If you haven't heard from me for a while, it's because my job has been muy loco and there's been barely enough time to see my family! It's just beginning to return to normal now and so Ithink it's time to plan a vacation. We're socked in with snow (17 inches a week ago) and I don't know about you, but by March we are going to NEED a vacation. Happens every year - I don't know why we don't just plan something in advance. Mexico anyone?!
